Project Description

In need of a recharge?

Would you love to ‘get away from it all’ for a while and immerse yourself with life on the billabong, frog chorus, birdsong, gentle strolls, water views and a complete break from your never-ending To Do list?

Perhaps you’re a writer who is looking for the perfect place to squirrel yourself away so you can be truly productive? The Burrow is the inspirational hideaway everybody yearns for, a secluded mudbrick retreat with none of your usual daily distractions, providing you with the headspace you need to knuckle down and work or simply switch off.

After a fruitful day of writing, swap the words and desk for flora and fauna as you step outside into 5 acres of natural habitat at Wombat Bend, and wander around the billabong teeming with birdlife.

A stay at Wombat Bend could be JUST what you need. And the view of the billabong comes free with whichever package you choose.

A single-person stay for 5 nights (Sunday to Thursday inc) will give you some well-deserved downtime to get that assignment/novel/thesis finished.

Package 1

  • Accommodation only, bring all your own food and self-cater.
  • 5-nights at $255 per night – $1275

Package 2

If you’d like to book the 5-night package over a w/e, we will work out the best rate possible for you.
